They are seeking a motivated Summer Intern to support their Growth Solutions Architecture Team in developing a proprietary Large Language Model application, providing hands-on experience in AI development and collaboration with experienced engineers. Responsibilities: - Assist the Growth Solutions Architecture team in the development and testing of a proprietary Large Language Model (LLM) application - Support data preparation, analysis, and validation to improve model performance and accuracy - Assist in developing code, scripts, or tools that support AI/ML experimentation and application development - Participate in testing, evaluation, and documentation of model outputs and system capabilities - Conduct technical research on emerging AI/ML tools, frameworks, and best practices - Collaborate with engineers and solution architects to prototype new capabilities and features - Assist in documenting processes, workflows, and technical findings related to the application development - Support the team in identifying opportunities to optimize data pipelines, model performance, and system integration - Gain exposure to the Agile development lifecycle, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and team collaboration Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field - Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred - Rising Junior, Senior, or current graduate student - Located in or able to work within the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area during the internship period - Foundational experience with Python; familiarity with Java or JavaScript, desired - Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks or libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, Hugging Face, or OpenAI API), desired - Familiarity with data analysis, data processing, or machine learning concepts - Interest in Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, or Large Language Models - Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable insights - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to learn new tools, technologies, and frameworks quickly - Collaborative mindset with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment - Understanding of or interest in the Agile software development lifecycle Preferred Qualifications: - Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred - Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks or libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, Hugging Face, or OpenAI API), desired Required Skills: Python, Java, JavaScript, AI/ML frameworks, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI API, Data analysis, Data processing, Machine learning concepts, Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, Agile software development lifecycle, Analytical skills Benefits: Outstanding compensation and benefits plan
