Senior Purchase Executive Packaging Material

Working Days & Timings: Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM & Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
• Handle procurement of primary & secondary packaging materials, including:
• Bottles, jars, caps, lids
• Labels (digital & offset printing), cartons, corrugated boxes
• Mono cartons, inserts, foils, pouches
• Develop and manage reliable packaging material vendors
• Prepare, issue, and track Purchase Orders (POs)
• Negotiate pricing, lead time, MOQs, and payment terms with suppliers
• Coordinate with Design / QA / Production for artwork approvals and packaging specifications
• Ensure packaging materials meet quality and regulatory standards (Ayurvedic / Herbal / FMCG)
• Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases to avoid shortages or excess stock
• Resolve issues related to quality, quantity, delays, or billing discrepancies
• Maintain proper documentation of POs, invoices, GRNs, vendor records
• Prepare purchase MIS and cost-saving reports
• Support audits and compliance-related documentation

Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials & printing processes
• Good understanding of manufacturing purchase cycles
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (HORIZON / SAP or similar)
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail

Qualification & Experience
• Education: Graduate / Post Graduate (Commerce / Supply Chain / Any relevant discipline)
• Experience: 5–8 years in Purchase, specifically handling Packaging Materials
