Intern, Product Specialist at ISACA in Schaumburg, IL

Summary: ISACA is a global organization that empowers professionals in technology and information security. The internship offers hands-on experience in product management, focusing on market research, data analysis, and collaboration on product development initiatives. Responsibilities: - You will be working closely with our Product team by supporting tasks such as research, data clean-up or analysis, and administrative tasks that support the team’s core functions - You may also undertake special projects as needed - In this role, you will support market research and data analysis, collaborate on product discovery, design and prototyping, and gain exposure to workflow and process improvement initiatives - Interview customers and partners to gather or validate requirements and information - Analyze data from customers and partners to identify actionable themes - Assist in the prioritization and implementation of continuous improvement items and new products or features - Collaborate with individuals outside of the Product team as needed (IT, Operations, etc.) - Perform ad hoc requests in line with business priorities Required Qualifications: - Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in fields including or related to: Product Management, Business Development, Information Systems, Data Science - Strong verbal communication - Organization & Time Management - Professionalism - Sense of urgency - Curiosity and Inquisitiveness - Team player - Emotional intelligence - Competence with Excel Preferred Qualifications: - Candidates who can commute to Schaumburg, IL for orientation as well as 3–5 in person meetings throughout the summer Important Skills: Product Management, Data Science, Information Systems, Excel Nice-to-Have Skills: Sense of Urgency, Curiosity
