Summary: Iron Bow Technologies is a next generation solutions provider focused on delivering mission success across various industries. The Information Security Automation & Analytics Intern will work with the CISO to design and build automation solutions aimed at streamlining security reporting and metric generation, while also creating automated data pipelines and dashboards. Responsibilities: - Identify repetitive reporting tasks within the Information Security team - Collect data from multiple systems (e.g., ticketing platforms, vulnerability scanners, endpoint tools, identity platforms) - Build scripts to extract and normalize data (Python, MSGraph, or PowerShell preferred) - Design a simple data model to support recurring metrics - Create dashboards or visualizations (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar) - Document data sources, logic, and automation workflows - Present findings and dashboard outputs to security leadership - Recommend improvements to metric maturity and automation opportunities - Vulnerability remediation performance metrics - Patch compliance reporting - Security incident trend and SLA tracking - Identity/MFA adoption metrics - Control effective dashboards - Executive-level security KPI summaries - Automated POA&M tracking analytics Required Qualifications: - You are currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field - You are familiar with APIs and JSON data structures - You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills - You excel in an independent work environment with light guidance - You are able to write in a clear manner and have excellent verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Build scripts to extract and normalize data (Python, MSGraph, or PowerShell preferred) - You've mastered basic scripting experience (Python or PowerShell preferred) - Create dashboards or visualizations (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar) Required Skills: Python, PowerShell, Data analysis Important Skills: APIs, JSON, Power BI, Tableau Nice-to-Have Skills: Analytical skills, Independent work
