Job Description
Principle Accountabilities
Responsible for set-up and troubleshooting equipment and processes. Ensure product is manufactured and completed as per technical specifications. Ensure machine set up’s are completed as per standard and meets specifications. Ensure equipment and set-up parameters are established, followed and improved. Ensure materials required for changeover are available and secured prior to set-ups. Ensure product is packed and identified as per specifications. Ensure accurate inventory and effective control of materials and supplies. Ensure downtime is minimized by ensuring proper equipment set-ups, material is present prior to changeover and report lack of raw materials, tooling and/or equipment issues to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner. Coaching and mentoring assistants by providing clear and precise instructions. Ensure all safety rules and company policies/procedures are followed. Perform quality control checks Ability to read tape measure Must be detailed oriented and have a sense of urgency Use PPE as required Maintain good housekeeping Related tasks as requested by supervisor
Essential Skills and Experience
Must have High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience. No travel required Must be able to work in varying temperatures above 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Ability to repeatedly lift to a maximum of 50 lbs. Must have basic computer skills, AS400, Microsoft Office. Must have basic math skills.
