Summary: Iovance Biotherapeutics aims to be the global leader in innovating, developing and delivering tumor infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy for people with cancer. The Lentivirus Process Development Intern will learn about LVV production, design and execute staining studies, and analyze results while supporting TIL-related studies. Responsibilities: - Learning about LVV production and structure - Designing and executing LVV staining studies using the Virus Counter Plus - Using cell culture and flow cytometry to titer LVV - Analyzing experimental results and presenting to the team - Working safely and appropriately with viral vectors, according to BSL2 guidelines - Supporting other projects and team members with TIL-related studies, as appropriate Required Qualifications: - Currently a Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Immunology, Virology, or similar - Will consider Masters students pursuing a similar degree - Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint - Strong interest in process development and cell & gene therapy - Organized, self-motivated, and proactive - Working safely and appropriately with viral vectors, according to BSL2 guidelines Preferred Qualifications: - Cell culture and/or flow cytometry experience preferred Required Skills: Cell culture, Flow cytometry Important Skills: Excel, PowerPoint Nice-to-Have Skills: Process development, Self-motivated
