Senior Consultant ALM at Invenio Business Solutions in Faridabad

The Senior Consultant ALM will lead the design, configuration, and governance of SAP Cloud ALM for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations. The role focuses on establishing end-to-end ALM practices across requirements, build, testing, release, deployment, and operations. The consultant will define ALM governance frameworks including standards, templates, traceability, quality gates, and KPIs, while ensuring performance tuning and Basis-level support. Acting as the ALM workstream lead, the role involves stakeholder engagement, solution architecture advisory, and transition into operations.

Must Have

• 8+ years experience working in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) roles across at least 3 enterprise SAP implementations.
• Handson experience designing, configuring, and operating modern ALM toolsets in SAP landscapes, with recent practical experience using SAP Cloud ALM in a Public Cloud implementation.
• Proven ability to apply ALM practices across the full delivery lifecycle: requirements, build, testing, release, deployment, and operations.
• Experience leading the ALM workstream on SAP programmes, with a proven ability to define and enforce ALM governance including standards, templates, traceability, quality gates, and reporting
• Proficiency in performance monitoring, tuning, and Basis-level tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously whilst leading and supporting other.

Nice to Have

• Handson experience with Codebeamer, Windchill RV&S, or similar enterprise ALM platforms.
• Experience managing coexistence or transition between Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Experience integrating ALM with CI/CD or DevOps pipelines.
• Experience working in regulated industries (insurance, financial services, aerospace, pharma, etc.).

Day-To-Day:

• SAP Cloud ALM workstream leadership and planning
• Configure and run SAP Cloud ALM for requirements, testing, defects, releases, and operations readiness.
• Support consulting and implementation projects for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
• Support the definition of client specific solution architectures for ALM & PLM; with focus on Application Architecture or Technical Architecture as required.
• Analyse requirements, design solutions, and successfully implement solutions with the help of cross-functional teams.
• Ensure quality through appropriate methods and software engineering processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop organisational strategies, runbooks and roadmaps for SAP Cloud ALM.
• Establish SAP Cloud ALM governance: templates, standards, naming conventions, traceability rules, release gates, and quality KPIs.
• Configure SAP Cloud ALM scenarios based on client requirements and following SAP best practices.
• Drive and deliver system upgrades, performance tuning, and test automation.
• Provide technical support for ALM-related issues to implementation teams and clients.
• Engage with internal and client stakeholders around Cloud ALM processes, including workshops and advisory/SME sessions.
• Stay current with the latest SAP ALM tools and best practices and delivery though-leadership pieces, like blogs, whitepaper etc.
