Job Description
Summary: Intrex Aerospace is a precision aerospace manufacturing company producing tight tolerance machined components for aerospace, defense, and space. They are seeking experienced CNC Machinists for the second shift to set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, ensuring quality production and collaboration with the engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to set up and operate CNC lathes (multi-spindle, multi-axis)
- Ability to set up and operate 3-axis CNC mills
- Ability to set up and operate up to 2 lathe or mill machines in a cell
- Basic knowledge of GD&T and ability to read engineering drawings
- Ability to run production to calculated standards
- Ability to use various measuring equipment, including hand-held gages and advanced measuring devices for in process inspections
- Strong math and mechanical skills
- Ability to read and follow work instructions in a controlled production environment
- Good computer skills
- Discipline to provide consistent and precise work
- Familiarity with quality control systems/software
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in machining and tooling issues
- Ability to work effectively in a Team environment and communicate clearly with others
- Be able to collaborate with Engineering Team regarding program difficulties or corrections to operation standards
- Ability to manage multiple demands in a professional manner
- Must be able to work safely and wear appropriate PPE while working
Required Qualifications:

- Frequent bending, stooping, pulling and twisting may be required
- Extended periods of standing or walking frequently required
- Must have constant free mobility of hands, wrists, and arms; some physical or mechanical dexterity required
- Must be able to pass vision testing to see part defects and perform visual inspections
- Must be able to hear machines, equipment, and tooling during run
- Due to ITAR requirements, applicants for ALL machinists must be a 'U.S. Person' (i.e. Citizen, Permanent Resident, etc.) to be considered for open positions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prefer experience with multiple types of controls
- Knowledge of robotics is helpful
- Knowledge of CMMs helpful
- Willingness to learn multiple machine cells
