Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Intern to support sponsorship and partnership outreach for an upcoming industry event. The intern will assist in identifying prospective sponsors, generating leads, conducting outreach, and coordinating with stakeholders to secure sponsorship opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential sponsors, partners, and exhibitors.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
• Reach out to prospects via email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and WhatsApp.
• Schedule meetings and support sponsorship pitches.
• Assist in preparing sponsorship proposals, presentations, and pitch decks.
• Follow up with prospects and maintain CRM records.
• Support sponsorship negotiations and coordination through the closure process.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduate in Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, BMS or a related field.
• MBA (Marketing/Business Development) preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Hindi.
• Proactive, organized, and target oriented.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with LinkedIn and CRM tools is an advantage.
• Prior internships or experience in business development, sales, event sponsorships, or marketing is preferred.
