Location: Peaks Regional Office
Job Description:
Provides leadership and direction for growth initiatives for Intermountain Medical Groups in collaboration with enterprise and regional leadership from planning to execution. Specifically facilitating prioritization, business case development and implementation. Growth includes physician practice transactions; de novo builds and expansion of existing operations. This position reports to the AVP of Acquisitions and Builds.
Essentials
Oversees the execution work by acting as the conduit to inform timeline, resource requirements, stakeholders, tasks and risks to ensure successful implementations. This is accomplished through strong partnership with operations, project management office and other key stakeholders.
Oversees operational programs and tools to optimize performance of new clinics in all regions. (i.e. new clinic scorecard).
Supports AVP of Acquisitions and Builds in facilitating collaboration, development and
implementation of best practices for implementation of growth initiatives across the medical groups in all regions.
Utilizes a strong business acumen and collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop an execution plan for all Medical Group growth initiatives
Promotes effective working relationships and works effectively from a region and enterprise perspective to facilitate that the medical groups ability to meet its goals and objective. Participates in interdisciplinary committees throughout the organization.
Partners with the AVP of Acquisitions and Builds and regional VP of Operations to identify and drive quality and performance improvement initiatives. Participates in establishing mechanisms to design, measure, maintain, and improve the performance and quality of department services.
Minimum Requirements
Demonstratable healthcare experience
Knowledge and experience in ambulatory and hospital-based healthcare delivery
Experience facilitating and leading groups involved in a complex portfolio.
Demonstrated experience managing projects and programs is required.
Demonstrated management experience is required.
Proficiency with basic word processing and presentation applications is required.
Proven results managing projects, programs and budgets is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. Degree must be from an accredited institution and will be verified.
MBA/MHA or graduate degree is preferred.
Seven (7) years’ experience managing projects and programs is required.
Five (5) years of management experience is required.
Physical Requirements
Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$58.62 - $90.48
