Job Description
The Company Nurse is responsible for providing basic healthcare services, promoting employee health and safety, and supporting occupational health programs within the hotel.
The role ensures that employees receive appropriate medical assistance, health guidance, and wellness support while maintaining compliance with local health regulations, company policies, and IHG standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Medical Assistance
- Provide first aid and basic medical care to employees in case of illness or injury.
- Assess and monitor employees’ health conditions and recommend appropriate medical action when necessary.
- Maintain and organize medical supplies and equipment in the clinic.
Health Monitoring
- Conduct regular health checks and monitoring for employees.
- Assist in the coordination of annual medical examinations (APE) and other health-related activities.
- Monitor employees who are returning to work after illness or injury.
Health & Safety Programs
- Support the implementation of workplace health and safety programs.
- Assist in conducting health awareness activities and wellness campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate medical records and health reports of employees.
- Prepare and submit reports related to employee health concerns, incidents, or medical assistance provided.
- Coordinate with external clinics or hospitals when necessary.
Administrative Support
- Assist HR in implementing employee health programs and wellness initiatives.
- Provide guidance to employees regarding medical concerns and health benefits.
- Support HR activities related to health and safety compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid PRC license.
- Preferably with BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) training.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in occupational health or clinical nursing.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations is an advantage.
