Responsibilities:
Product Analytics & Decision Support:
- define and maintain KPIs and metric definitions
- perform exploratory and hypothesis-driven analyses to understand product usage, client behaviours, and outcomes.
Data Investigation & Root-Cause Analysis:
- investigate anomalies and data discrepancies
- analyse data across data sources, logs, and stakeholder inputs
- propose practical fixes or mitigations.
Design and iterate dashboards & reports (Analytics UX):
- design clear, intuitive, and actionable dashboards tailored to stakeholder needs
- iterate based on user feedback and changing business priorities
- ensure performance, accuracy, and documentation of reports.
Build AI-Accelerated Workflows:
- use AI tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, summarisation, first-pass SQL/scripts, and spec drafting; however, apply strong verification discipline
- create reusable AI-assisted assets (templates, checklists, analysis playbooks) that scale team productivity.
Requirements, Delivery & Collaboration:
- prioritise and scope analytical initiatives
- work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to clarify needs and constraints
- work within a Scrum framework
- create and maintain epics, user stories, and tasks in Jira
- contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews.
Requirements:
Technical skills:
Must have
- Strong SQL skills and ability to work with complex data models
- Experience building clear dashboards or analytic deliverables (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension tables, ETL/ELT).
Nice to have
- Experience with Python/R for advanced analysis
- Familiarity with cloud data environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
