As a Semiconductor Research Intern, you will drive innovation in software, hardware, and semiconductor domains, supporting the development of cutting-edge technologies and collaborating with industry and academia on scientific research projects.
Responsibilities:
- Drive innovation across software, hardware, and semiconductor domains
- Support the development of cutting-edge artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning technologies
- Initiate and execute scientific research projects to fuel growth in computing, communication, memory, and networking
- Apply advanced knowledge of hardware/software co-design principles to optimize system implementations
- Collaborate with industry and academia, influence external research, and contribute to scientific publications and patents
- Architect secure designs, conduct vulnerability assessments, and develop tools to enhance security
- Explore novel device physics and process innovations to advance Intel's roadmap of future technologies
- Solve complex engineering problems, develop strategic software applications, and recommend strategic product enhancements to meet evolving customer needs
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be enrolled/pursuing a Master's degree OR Ph.D degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related STEM field with 3+ months of education or industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher
