Job Description
Summary: Integration Innovation, Inc. is a technically diverse, 100% team member owned business specializing in missile and aviation systems engineering and logistic services. The Mechanical Engineering Intern will support engineering tasks related to their academic studies while gaining hands-on experience and contributing to various projects.
Responsibilities:
- Experience hands on work experience in support of on-going projects
- Provide administrative and technical support
- Deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment by managing time and effort across multiple projects.Support unique and complex Dept of War and Army engineering efforts located in Huntsville, Alabama
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate level Engineering degree program in relevant area (Mechanical Engineering degree concentration preferred) at an accredited college/university at the time of the internship (Summer 2026 or Fall 2026)
- Required minimum GPA is 3.0
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Exceptional judgment capabilities and relationship management skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills; ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver feedback clearly and tactfully
- Interact with a diverse array of customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner
- Work with supervision and have accountability for accurate and complete results
- Be extremely organized and exceptionally detail oriented
- Work well both independently and in a team environment
- Be energized by a fast-paced work environment
- Must be able to communicate with others effectively
- Analyze information and respond appropriately
- Manage time wisely and prioritize tasks
- Provide superior customer service
- Multi-task in a pleasant manner

Preferred Qualifications:
- Community and/or campus involvement is preferred
- Desired Knowledge and/or experience in the use of CAD software including Solid Works, Inventor, and/or Creo
- Desired Knowledge of hardware components and assembly
- Knowledge of office administration and procedures
