Group Applications Support Officer Location: Corporate Office - New Zealand Group Applications Support Officer – RIS PACS About the Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Applications Support Officer to join our RIS PACS team at IDX New Zealand. This role is integral to supporting, maintaining, and optimising our RIS PACS application to ensure it continues to meet the operational needs of our imaging services across the group. You’ll collaborate with clinical, technical, and administrative teams to deliver a reliable, efficient, and user-friendly PACS environment, while contributing to system improvements and innovation. What you’ll be doing: Provide first- and second-line support for RIS PACS across IDX NZ Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely, professional manner Work closely with vendors, IT teams, and site staff to ensure optimal system performance Support user training, onboarding, and documentation Assist with system upgrades, configuration changes, and enhancement initiatives Contribute to quality improvement efforts and identify workflow optimisation opportunities We are looking for someone who: Has a strong understanding of RIS PACS workflows Ideally has Radiology Information System (RIS), PACS, PACSLink, Patient Portal, HL7 messaging, imaging platforms and EDI experience Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail Communicates effectively and can engage with a wide range of stakeholders Thrives both independently and as part of a collaborative team Is adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and processes Why Join Us?
