Engineer Maintenance at InnVentures IVI LP in US-OH-Independence

Summary: InnVentures IVI LP operates over 75 hotels and is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to ensure guest satisfaction through excellent maintenance services. The role involves performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and responding to guest requests with urgency. Responsibilities: - Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on PTAC/HVAC equipment, furniture/cabinetry, appliances, light fixtures and plumbing - Perform interior and exterior painting, landscaping and parking lot repairs - Troubleshoot various technical devices such as key card systems, internet equipment, television equipment, etc - Execute routine safety inspections and report/repair issues with equipment or systems - Respond to all guest requests with a sense of urgency and service frame of mind - Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments Required Qualifications: - Previous maintenance experience in a hotel or property management setting - Basic verbal and written communication skills - Ability to perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on PTAC/HVAC equipment, furniture/cabinetry, appliances, light fixtures and plumbing - Ability to perform interior and exterior painting, landscaping and parking lot repairs - Ability to troubleshoot various technical devices such as key card systems, internet equipment, television equipment, etc - Ability to execute routine safety inspections and report/repair issues with equipment or systems - Ability to respond to all guest requests with a sense of urgency and service frame of mind - Ability to support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments - Ability to continuously move, regularly bend, lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds - Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift - Availability to work weekends and holidays Preferred Qualifications: - Previous technical training or job experience Required Skills: PTAC maintenance, HVAC maintenance, Furniture repair, Cabinetry repair, Appliance repair, Light fixture repair, Plumbing repair, Interior painting, Exterior painting, Landscaping, Parking lot repair, Key card system troubleshooting, Internet equipment troubleshooting, Television equipment troubleshooting, Safety inspections Benefits: Group insurance, including medical, dental, vision and company-paid life insurance, Paid time off, Company-matched 401(k) plan, Voluntary benefits including short term disability, long term disability, accident, life, critical illness and Flexible Spending Account, Life enrichment benefits including hotel benefits, employee assistance program, leadership development program and more!, Get paid daily
