Role Overview
The Business Data Migration Expert for Procurement ensures business data is delivered in alignment with global, deployment, and country-level timelines and requirements. Operating as the functional Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for assigned deployment releases, this role oversees data migration activities across Direct and Indirect Procurement domains-including Vendor Master (VM), Purchase Orders (PO), Purchasing Info Records (PIR), and Source Lists (SL).
Key Responsibilities

Act as the functional SPoC for assigned Procurement data objects during releases, mock loads, integration testing, and defect management during Hypercare.

Plan, coordinate, and execute business data cleansing tasks to ensure completion against agreed timelines and quality thresholds.

Manage data collection and verification for manual or construction data objects.

Collaborate closely with IT, technical teams, and country Business Data Owners to identify scope, define value mappings, and create/maintain master data lists.

Provide functional domain insights to technical teams to support data extraction and conversion logic from legacy systems.

Conduct ongoing data quality checks, validate against defined data standards, and approve pre-load and post-load files.

Perform manual (type-in) data entry into target ERP systems when required, adhering to governance protocols.

Manage dual maintenance processes and execute/approve data verification scripts.

Support cutover planning, reconciliation, and post-go-live data issue triage.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Experience: 5+ years of experience across country, regional, or global roles in enterprise environments.

ERP Experience: Proven hands-on SAP/ERP implementation and data migration experience.

Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Direct and Indirect Procurement business processes, vendor master data, purchase order lifecycles, pricing, and conditions.

Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities for data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and mapping.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.

Soft Skills: Excellent English communication, stakeholder management, cross-functional alignment, and problem-solving skills.
