Job Description
Summary: INNIO Group is a company focused on natural gas compression and power generation, offering technically challenging internships in engineering. As an intern, you will work on high impact teams addressing clean power and affordable energy challenges through various engineering assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Duration: 10-12 Weeks
- Location: Primarily On-site in Waukesha, Wisconsin
- Compensation: Paid at an hourly rate; housing stipend potentially available
Required Qualifications:
- GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 / 4.0 overall
- High School Coursework Focus: STEM, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering. Other Technology based studies such as Computer Engineering, Mechanical Design, or other Engine-related coursework focus will also be considered
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Time management and organizational skills
- Adaptability and willingness to learn
- Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job
Preferred Qualifications:
- GPA greater than or equal to 3.2 / 4.0 overall in one of the academic focus areas
- Strong dedication to a career in technology and a real passion for engineering
- Demonstrated analytical approach to problem solving, learning agility
- Ability to work in project teams in an international environment
- Ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms
- Demonstrated / enthusiastic leadership and team-building skills
- Proven scholastic achievements and proactive leadership skills
- Interest in engine or combustion technologies
