Job Description Azure DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Azure DevOps, GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Python. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, automating, and managing cloud-native infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containerized applications, and deployment processes across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for scalable and secure cloud environments.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python.
• Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for cloud infrastructure.
• Manage release processes, deployments, and environment configurations.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams.
• Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security of applications.
• Implement DevSecOps best practices and cloud governance standards.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD.
• Expertise in Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Docker and container orchestration.
• Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and automation.
• Experience with Linux administration.
• Knowledge of networking, security, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Azure Monitor.
• Understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Cloud Services.
• Knowledge of Helm Charts and Kubernetes Operators.
• Experience with Ansible or other configuration management tools.
• Familiarity with SonarQube, Nexus, Artifactory, and Jenkins.
• Experience with Security Scanning tools and CI/CD security practices.
• Exposure to Multi-Cloud environments (AWS/GCP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
