Job Title: Automation Test Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer to develop, execute, and maintain automated test solutions that ensure high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate should have expertise in test automation frameworks, functional testing, API testing, and continuous integration practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Analyze business requirements and create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Prepare test reports and quality metrics for stakeholders.
• Continuously improve test automation processes and frameworks.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Automation Testing.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, UFT, or TestComplete.
• Knowledge of API Testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
• Experience with SQL and database validation.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Exposure to cloud testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Experience in mobile automation testing using Appium.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and test automation in CI/CD environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• ISTQB or Automation Testing certifications are preferred.
