JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Admissions Editor – SHIKSHA Study Abroad
Function: Admissions Editing (Admissions Counselling Services)
Location: Remote/Online
Role Purpose
The Admissions Editor is responsible for delivering high-quality editing services for study abroad applications, helping students create compelling, error-free, and impactful application documents while ensuring adherence to quality standards and turnaround timelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Application Editing & Client Service
• Edit and enhance application documents, including SOPs, essays, Letters of Recommendation, resumes, scholarship essays, visa SOPs, and other admission-related content.
• Ensure every document effectively highlights the applicant's strengths, achievements, and individuality.
• Deliver assignments within defined turnaround times while maintaining high productivity.
• Collaborate effectively with Admissions Counsellors, Operations, and the Editorial team to ensure a seamless student experience.
2. Process & Quality Compliance
• Adhere to established editorial SOPs and quality standards.
• Follow the FIFO (First In, First Out) workflow for document processing.
• Meet defined quality, audit, and service delivery benchmarks.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned work and keep the Team Lead informed of key client interactions, where required.
• Consistently maintain high audit scores.
3. Team Contribution
• Support the team during peak workload periods and operational contingencies.
• Contribute to content development initiatives and process improvement projects.
• Assist in internal knowledge-sharing sessions, trainings, and presentations.
