Summary: Infineon Technologies is a global semiconductor company developing solutions for power systems, IoT, mobility, and energy efficiency. The Senior Engineer Digital IC Design will develop and verify low-power digital circuits and architectures for automotive electronic applications, ensuring reliability, safety, performance, and quality standards. The role also involves collaborating cross-functionally, documenting designs, and optimizing timing, area, performance, and power.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement digital circuits for automotive electronic applications
- Write and optimize low power Register Transfer Level (RTL) code, implement and simulate digital designs to ensure functionality and performance requirements are met
- Develop and execute verification plans to verify the correctness of digital design and ensure designs meet automotive safety and quality standards
- Work closely with a cross-functional team for product development
- Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including specifications, datasheets, and verification plans
- Work with implementation to achieve optimal timing, area, performance, and power goals

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields
- 0-2 years of relevant **previous experience or internships**
- Be involved in the **chip development process from Spec to Tapeout**
- Have knowledge of **Verilog/System Verilog**
- Have knowledge of basic digital design logic
- Be familiar with digital design frontend flows
- Have experience on verification/debugging activities

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Ethernet protocol or previous experience with network IC development
- Familiarity with programming language such as Python or Perl is advantageous
