About the Job
Infillion is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Engineer to design, develop, integrate, maintain, and enhance Salesforce solutions across the organization.
This is a hands-on engineering role responsible for developing custom Salesforce functionality, integrating Salesforce with third-party systems, maintaining the existing Salesforce environment, providing production support, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions while continuously improving the Salesforce platform.
Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end Salesforce development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Develop and enhance custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, JavaScript, Visualforce, and Lightning components across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, TaskRay, and Pardot.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and conduct usability reviews.

Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce API and ETL integrations with third-party ERP, financial reporting, and other business systems, including bi-directional data flows for contracts, billing, revenue forecasting, financial reporting, and ad execution.

Develop and maintain Salesforce fields, objects, page layouts, SOQL, formulas, validations, flows, and approval processes to support and optimize business processes.

Implement and maintain Salesforce security controls, including profiles, roles, sharing settings, field-level security, and permission sets.

Provide Level 2/3 production support, troubleshooting, debugging, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex Salesforce and integration issues.

Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce functionality, including modernizing legacy automation and migrating older solutions to newer Salesforce tools such as Flow.

Facilitate Agile ceremonies, participate in peer code reviews, and ensure development follows Salesforce and coding best practices.

Administer and support third-party applications integrated with Salesforce, including DocuSign, Cloudingo, RemedyForce, Boomi, Salesforce CPQ, and TaskRay, and collaborate with vendors on system upgrades.

Ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable data and functionality across the Salesforce environment.

Maintain comprehensive documentation for system enhancements, application code, processes, and system/user flows.

Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and emerging capabilities and recommend solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and business processes.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

4+ years of experience developing custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, JavaScript, Visualforce, and Lightning components.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, Salesforce development best practices, data models, security models, and governance limits.

Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs and ETL tools.

Strong knowledge of Salesforce automation, including Workflow Rules, Process Builder, and Flow.

Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud; experience with Service Cloud, RemedyForce, CPQ, TaskRay, or Pardot is highly desirable.

Experience working in Agile development environments and participating in peer code reviews.

Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across Salesforce and third-party integrations.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality solutions.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, comprehensive documentation.

Salesforce Platform Developer II certification or equivalent experience preferred.

Ability to stay current with Salesforce innovations and recommend opportunities to incorporate new functionality into existing applications.
Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Platform Developer II certification and/or additional Salesforce certifications.

Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Service Cloud, RemedyForce, TaskRay, Pardot, or other Salesforce ecosystem products.

Experience with Boomi or other enterprise integration platforms.

Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP and financial reporting systems.

Experience modernizing legacy Salesforce automation and migrating Workflow Rules or Process Builder to Salesforce Flow.

Experience providing Level 2/3 production support in a complex Salesforce environment.
