The Maintenance Technician supports the Property Manager in the efficient management of all maintenance-related work on the property. They also repair and monitor all AC-related issues and ensure inventory is stocked and tracked. At leadership discretion, at times, they may lead the maintenance team by ensuring tickets are completed in a timely manner with the highest quality. Minimum Qualifications: Education: An associate's degree from an HVAC program preferred Experience: Two (2) years of HVAC experience in the multi-family/residential industry required License/Certification: Valid state driver’s license, EPA 608 Universal Certification. Preferably HVAC Type (1) License. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: English/Spanish fluency Basic computer and smartphone skills Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills Must always demonstrate professional and respectful behavior Demonstrates the ability to influence and lead others to get work accomplished Must be able to lift, pull, push, and carry at least 50 pounds Requirements Principal Responsibilities: Must be willing to work on call as needed Installs new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems Inspects HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety Performs preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity Conducts performance tests with specialized tools Troubleshoot HVAC system issues and repair damages Supervises electrical issues at the property Maintains inventory of all equipment and HVAC resources Works within the safety guidelines outlined by the Maintenance Manager /or the Company Supports, trains, and develops maintenance employees and teams for future growth Other duties as assigned We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
