They are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Intern to support their Finance team, providing hands-on experience in core accounting functions and contributing to process improvements. Responsibilities: - Support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP) and expense tracking - Assist with cash reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records - Participate in ERP implementation efforts, including testing and data migration support - Help maintain accurate financial data by reviewing, organizing, and validating datasets - Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations - Track and analyze expenses to identify trends, discrepancies, and cost-saving opportunities - Support documentation of accounting processes and internal controls - Prepare structured outputs (Excel models, reconciliations, summaries, and reports) - Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting and data integrity Required Qualifications: - Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or recent graduate) - Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data organization) - High attention to detail and accuracy in working with financial data - Comfortable working with large datasets and identifying inconsistencies - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Quickbooks, or similar) - Exposure to accounts payable processes or financial reconciliations - Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP knowledge is a plus) Required Skills: Bachelor's in Accounting, Excel skills Important Skills: ERP systems, accounting principles
