The Position
HR Director HRBP Industry & Country HRD PMEMEA & APACJob Summary
Job Summary:
Strategic HR counterpart of the PMEMEA & APAC Industry VP, Hub Directors, COE Director, Logistics & Business Planning Directors with a focus on driving the strategic HR agenda for the BA perimeter.
Advise on HR matters that impacts the business & the function on short and long term basis.
Develop & coach employees and managers, focusing on career growth, retention, engagement and performance management within the organization.
Manage Country HR Managers to ensure HR efficiency and implementation of Imerys HR policies & Processes in their respective perimeter.
Main Tasks & responsibilities:
In collaboration with BA Industry VP, Hub Directors, Plant Managers, PMEMEA & APAC Industrial COE Directors, BP & Supply Chain Directors, design and implement needed organizational changes.
Provide HR advice and solutions on people and organization-related decisions.
Steer hiring process/strategy within function in accordance with general Imerys HR hiring strategy.
Validate HR needs and collaborate closely with Country HR teams to ensure the appropriate service level in recruiting, onboarding, training, compensation & benefits topics…
Drive effective talent management: identification, development & retention of talents, succession planning; ensure improvement of overall performance through performance management.
Conduct workforce planning and ensure alignment with budget.
Manage promotions, mobility, career management within the defined perimeter of the function.
Ensure development of diversity through hiring, promotions and specific actions.
Accountable for HR KPI’s to facilitate management decision making.
Collaborate closely with HR teams & Communications, Country HR organizations, HR Center of Excellence, HRBP’s teams, other industry HRBP’s at group level.
Manage country HR managers guiding them to ensure HR efficiency and implementation of Imerys HR policies & processes in their perimeter.
Manage effectiveness of the team and performance of team members.
Manage Country HR organization under his/her responsibilities, delivering appropriate service while respecting allocated budget.
Is part of PMEMEA & APAC Industry Leadership team, BA HR Leadership team.
Scope:
Industry HRBP Scope: covers all Performance Minerals operations, & supply chain in EMEA & APAC except UK (which is managed by UK Country HRD & UK Hub HRBP) :
8 Hubs, 60 sites in EMEA & APAC regions (except UK), 2.800 employees including 650 MEP. Manages one HRBP Industry.
Country HRD role : manage Country HR Managers for Hungary, Bulgaria, Denmark.
Manage directly a total team of 4.
Qualifications & experience:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field required 10 to 15 years experience in an HR position, preferably in a HRBP role.
Knowledge of Imerys business, knowledge of industrial operations is a plus.
Fluent in English, other languages spoken in EMEA (French, German, Greek, ..) appreciated.
