Sr. Digital Engagement & Creative… at Images, Inc. · Hybrid…
Job Description
Images, Inc. is looking for an experienced Sr. Digital Engagement & Creative Technology Strategist who can develop the idea, shape the strategy—and actually create the work.
We’re looking for a senior, hands-on professional who combines digital strategy, visual storytelling, video and motion graphics, emerging technology and advanced generative AI skills.
This isn’t a traditional social media position. It isn’t a pure strategy role. And it isn’t a video-production position where someone else hands you the concept.
We want someone who can look at a communications challenge, understand the audience, find the story, develop a creative approach and help bring that idea all the way through execution.
Images is an established communications and public involvement firm working across transportation, infrastructure and other complex public-facing initiatives. Our work requires taking complicated information and making it clear, engaging and meaningful to the people who need to understand it.
Strategy meets creativity. And you can do both.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll work across a diverse mix of client projects while also helping advance the Images brand and our digital capabilities.
You’ll:
- Develop creative digital engagement and content strategies based on audience, objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Generate fresh campaign, content and storytelling concepts—and proactively bring ideas to the table.
- Create sophisticated video, motion graphics and animation using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Concept, storyboard and produce both short-form digital content and longer-form educational and documentary-style video.
- Translate complex technical information into clear, compelling visual stories.
- Develop digital and social content designed around audience behavior rather than simply posting for the sake of posting.
- Collaborate with communications professionals, graphic designers, project managers and technical subject-matter experts.
- Use analytics and performance data to evaluate and improve digital communications.
- Apply generative AI and advanced prompting to research, strategy, analytics.
- Explore new AI, digital, video and creative technologies and identify practical ways they can improve our work.
- Move comfortably between strategic thinking and hands-on production.
The Person We’re Looking For
You’re an experienced creative professional who has reached the point in your career where you don’t need someone else to tell you exactly what to do next.
You’re curious. You see possibilities other people miss. You ask good questions. You understand audiences. You can take an ambiguous challenge and turn it into an idea—and an idea into an actual deliverable.
You also still love making things.
We’re especially interested in someone who:
- Is a creator who thinks strategically.
- Has strong creative judgment and visual instincts.
- Is proactive and comfortable taking ownership.
- Brings ideas rather than waiting to receive them.
- Can work independently while collaborating well with a team.
- Is comfortable learning complex subject matter.
- Understands the difference between something that looks impressive and something that actually communicates effectively.
- Is genuinely interested in how AI and emerging technology are changing creative communications.
- Enjoys variety and the opportunity to work across different clients, audiences and challenges.
- Wants to make a meaningful, long-term contribution to an established company that is continuing to evolve and grow.
What You’ll Bring
- 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in digital communications, creative strategy, multimedia, digital engagement, content production or a related discipline.
- Advanced Adobe After Effects skills.
- Strong professional video-editing skills; Adobe Premiere Pro strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated motion graphics and animation experience.
- Experience producing both short- and long-form video content.
- Strong visual storytelling and conceptual-development skills.
- Demonstrated ability to move from strategy through hands-on execution.
- Advanced proficiency with generative AI and prompt development, including the ability to refine prompts and incorporate AI into real working processes.
- Strong understanding of social and digital platforms.
- Working knowledge of analytics and digital performance measurement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
Experience in transportation, infrastructure, architecture/engineering/construction, government communications or public involvement is a plus, but isn’t required. The ability to quickly understand complicated subjects and communicate them creatively is more important.
