Summary: Ilitch Companies is looking for a Cyber Security Intern to join their team at Little Caesars. In this role, you will research emerging security risks, assist in drafting strategy documents, and collaborate closely with industry professionals on various cyber security initiatives. Responsibilities: - Research and report on emerging security risks and industry-specific threats - Review security policies against best practices and suggest updates - Assist in drafting and formatting strategy documents and executive presentations - Summarize key security metrics for weekly reporting - Work closely with a mentor while supporting the department and a closely knit team on daily assignments or projects - Gain valuable experience in understanding technology and cyber security - Learn and collaborate with industry professionals on a variety of cyber security initiatives - End internship with a presentation to senior leadership on internship experience including key projects, initiatives, and findings Required Qualifications: - Junior Level class or above and actively enrolled in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Cyber Security, or related field - Minimum overall GPA 3.0 - Good organizational and analytical/reasoning skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Intermediate PC skills (familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects concurrently - Ability to function in a team environment, supporting team members when needed - Ability to work independently completing projects within determined timelines - Evidence of ability to build and maintain relationships and excel in an interactive team environment Required Skills: Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Computer Science, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Analytical skills, Multitasking, Independent work Benefits: Colleague fitness center, Work café, Outdoor patio with grills
