Job Description
Summary: Ignite Digital is a company that enables national security agencies to accelerate decisions and enhance operational outcomes. They are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Artist Intern to design visually compelling graphics for external proposals and transform complex workflows into engaging visual representations.
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality graphics and visual elements for client-facing proposals and presentations
- Translate workflows, processes, and technical concepts into clear, intuitive graphics
- Collaborate with proposal managers, marketing, and operations teams to ensure brand consistency and visual impact
- Maintain and organize design assets for easy reuse and scalability
- Assist in brainstorming and developing creative concepts for proposal layouts and visual storytelling
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications, or a related field
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent tools
- Ability to work in and with Canva to create visually engaging graphics
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and color theory
- Ability to simplify complex information into clear, visually appealing graphics
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Familiarity with workflow diagrams, process mapping, or infographics is a plus
- Ability to work independently and set and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with proposal design or corporate communications
- Knowledge of PowerPoint and other presentation tools
- Basic understanding of branding and marketing principles
