Summary: ifm is a global company specializing in sensors and controls for industrial automation. They are seeking a Logistics Intern to assist with picking, packing, shipping, and replenishing orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities: - Picking, packing, shipping and replenishment orders using a paperless process and wearable technology - Additional responsibilities may include inbound receiving, quality inspections and value add activities as well as other miscellaneous duties associated with a warehouse position - Opportunities to cross-train in other distribution center functions Required Qualifications: - 1+ year/s of experience working in a distribution environment preferred - Mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, percentages and fractions, required - Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, pull, push and reach in varying amounts required - Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs - Wearable technology on forearm and tethering to index finger for use of laser to scan storage bin locations for products - Weight of device is 1lb - Must have reliable transportation - High School Diploma or GED required Required Skills: Mathematical skills, Warehouse technology Important Skills: Distribution experience Nice-to-Have Skills: Physical stamina, High School Diploma
