The intern will conduct research, capture data, and participate in strategic business initiatives to ensure successful operations within the Health Plan. Responsibilities: - Perform a variety of administrative support duties such as conducting research, gathering data, preparing spreadsheets and other similar functions - Assist in resolving business issues using systems and data - Analyze, generate, and maintain records and other reference material necessary for departmental use - Perform any other duties as required to ensure Health Plan operations and department business needs are successful Required Qualifications: - High school or GED required - A junior, senior, or graduate student attending an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or higher - Proficiency in computer applications, and ability to work effectively with various levels of staff - Advanced knowledge of research protocols - Can perform intermediate level of word/excel programs - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Writing skills - Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications - Ability to work effectively with various levels of staff - Ability to compose professional level correspondence Required Skills: Research protocols, Microsoft Excel Important Skills: Microsoft Office Nice-to-Have Skills: Professional correspondence, Administrative support Benefits: Competitive salary, Hybrid schedule, State of the art fitness center on-site, Career advancement opportunities and professional development, Wellness programs that promote a healthy work-life balance
