Summary: IDEX Corporation is a leader in wastewater monitoring equipment and services, seeking a Software QC Analyst to enable the delivery of high-quality software. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and execute manual test cases for their cloud-based sensor management and data analytics software product called PRISM. Responsibilities: - Works with software developers and the QC Manager to develop manual test cases for PRISM - Executes manual test cases - Collaborates with the automated test team to automate manual test cases - Logs issues during testing process - Tests and verifies fixes for logged issues - Works with the QC team leadership to test software releases – hot fixes, minor fixes, and full regression releases - Assess User Story requirements for user workflow and sends feedback to Product Management - Works with Product Management to provide our customers with an extraordinary quality experience - Works with internal and external customers to develop workflow and test the product against those workflows to ensure delivery of value Required Qualifications: - Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Mathematics (or equivalent) - 1+ years of experience testing software products Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Agile Scrum - Experience with test case management software - Experience with Azure DevOps or other issue management software - Bias towards automation testing Required Skills: Manual test case development, Manual testing, Agile Scrum, Test case management software, Azure DevOps, Issue management software, Automation testing, Entrepreneurial mindset Benefits: Health benefits, 401(k) retirement savings program with company match, PTO, And more.
