QA Engineer – Manual & Automation Testing… at Ideal Web… · Karachi

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing to test and maintain the quality of a complex, multi-module ERP system.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable testing complete business workflows, APIs, integrations, permissions, reports, and high-volume system functionality while also developing and maintaining automated test cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Manual and Automation Testing for complex ERP modules and workflows.
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and regression test suites.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, UI, and End-to-End Testing.
• Test REST APIs, frontend applications, backend workflows, and database-driven functionality.
• Validate complex business rules and cross-module workflows.
• Test Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), user permissions, and different user roles.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs through resolution.
• Develop and maintain automated testing scripts for critical workflows.
• Perform basic performance and load testing where required.
• Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing before releases.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and project teams to maintain product quality.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of professional QA experience.
• Strong experience in Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
• Experience testing ERP, SaaS, CRM, HRMS, Accounting, Healthcare, or other complex business applications.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, QA processes, and bug lifecycle.
• Experience with API testing and database validation.
• Ability to understand complex workflows and business requirements.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Tools / Technologies

Experience with some of the following:

• Playwright / Cypress / Selenium
• Postman / Swagger
• JMeter / k6 for performance testing
• Jira / ClickUp / similar bug tracking tools
• SQL / MySQL / PostgreSQL
• Git / GitHub
• Browser Developer Tools

Preferred

• Experience building or maintaining an Automation Testing Framework.
• Experience with CI/CD-based automated testing.
• Experience testing large systems with multiple modules, user roles, integrations, and dependencies.
• Basic understanding of frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and system architecture.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of product quality and confidently test both individual features and complete end-to-end ERP workflows.

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
