They are seeking a Detail Technician responsible for removing sharp edges on precision machined metal parts, washing and cleaning parts, and conducting visual inspections for defects. Responsibilities: - Removing of sharp edges on precision machined metal parts - Sand and Scotch bright using orbital sanders/die grinders, etc - Washing and cleaning parts - Visual inspection for scratches/dings and defects - Communicate with supervisors for priorities and cosmetic issues Required Qualifications: - High School diploma or equivalent qualification required - Requires individuals to be very detail oriented with a thorough understanding of metal working tools, both mechanical and manual - Must be able to read and understand part drawings with special attention to surface finish requirements and edge breaks - Ability to lift/or move up to 50 pounds Preferred Qualifications: - Quick learner - Team player and work well with others - Good communication - Bilingual - Strong work ethic - Use of orbital sanders/deburring wheels and scotch bright bits Required Skills: Metal working tools, Reading part drawings, Orbital sanders, Deburring wheels, Scotch bright bits, Bilingual
