Job Title – Human Resources Business Partner
Location – Hyderabad, India
Job Scope Summary:
As the HR Business Partner (HRBP) at IC Markets, you will play a key strategic and operational role in supporting the setup and growth of our Hyderabad, India office. Your role includes ensuring HR operations are compliant with Indian labor law, establishing foundational HR systems and policies, managing expatriate work permits and visas, and fostering a positive organizational culture and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Organizational Culture & Development
- Champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with IC Markets’ values and global identity.
- Support leadership in change management and organizational development initiatives.
Payroll
- Prepare and validate payroll changes including compensation adjustments, incentives, and organizational movements from a governance perspective.
- Provide strategic views into payroll operations to ensure alignment with organizational goals, policies, and compliance standards.
- Partners with Finance teams to drive accuracy, governance, and continuous improvement in payroll processes.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements, proactively mitigating risks.
Employee Experience
- Design and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall workplace satisfaction.
- Conduct employee onboarding, offboarding, and feedback programs to ensure a smooth employee lifecycle.
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, develop job descriptions, and create effective sourcing strategies.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting through to onboarding.
- Assist the Global Talent Acquisition team in sourcing candidates (as and when required).
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines through networking, partnerships, and proactive sourcing.
HR Operations
- Support the establishment and operational readiness of HR systems, policies, and processes in line with local labor law and IC Markets global standards.
- Provide expert guidance on local employment legislation, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Lead the creation and localization of HR documentation including employee handbooks, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Partner with relevant government agencies and service providers to secure work permits and employment passes for expatriate employees.
- Manage all processes related to visa applications, renewals, and compliance for foreign hires.
Employee Relations (ER)
- Provide HR support to employees and managers on ER matters including conflict resolution, disciplinary action, grievance handling, and performance improvement plans.
- Ensure a fair and consistent approach to HR policies and practices.
Compensation & Benefits
- Advise on the design and implementation of competitive total rewards packages tailored to the Malaysian market.
- Benchmark local employee benefits and support periodic reviews and enhancements aligned with market trends and employee needs.
Performance Management & L&D
- Support the rollout and execution of performance management systems including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
- Collaborate with regional L&D teams to drive learning initiatives and career development programs for local employees.
