Summary: Humana is a leading healthcare services company focused on providing personalized care to seniors. They are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer 2 to develop and maintain Power BI reports, optimize SQL queries, and support end-users in utilizing business intelligence tools. Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards with a focus on user experience (UX) - Meet with report requesters to understand their needs and requirements, design prototypes using Figma or other wireframing tools, and conduct user testing - Optimize and maintain Snowflake SQL queries to improve performance and efficiency - Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI and other business intelligence tools - Document processes, technical designs, and report configurations - Collaborate within the team and outside of the team to build and maintain strong relationships Required Qualifications: - 1+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related field - 1+ years using SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and query tuning - Experience with business intelligence tools, such as Power BI or Tableau, for developing and maintaining data visualization, reporting, and dashboards - Demonstrated ability to solve problems and provide solutions for business or data issues - Strong communication skills - Skilled at building and maintaining relationships - Curiosity and highly motivated to learn new tools and processes Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field - Previous experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Qlikview, SSRS, or other similar technologies - Experience in Python or other object-oriented programming language - Experience creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors - Experience with wireframing tools for prototyping, such as Figma - Ability to work Monday through Friday, Eastern Standard Time Required Skills: Business Intelligence, SQL, Power BI, Data Visualization, Query Tuning, Stored Procedures Benefits: Medical, dental and vision benefits, 401(k) retirement savings plan, Time off (including paid time off, company and personal holidays, volunteer time off, paid parental and caregiver leave), Short-term and long-term disability, Life insurance
