Job Description: Junior Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting and a strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles. This role offers an opportunity to develop accounting skills while contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of the company's financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and perform general bookkeeping.
• Prepare and post general ledger entries.
• Perform bank, account, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
• Review financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and records.
• Support the accounting team with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and general ledger accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
