They are seeking a forward-thinking Software Engineer I to join their automation team and help build the future of capital markets infrastructure by writing clean, maintainable code and integrating external APIs. Responsibilities: - Write clean, maintainable code primarily in Python - Work with Python to integrate external APIs, leveraging asynchronous libraries - Proactively identify gaps in process, automation, or test coverage and implement sustainable solutions - Be a key contributor to our process and team culture, continually iterating on how we build products, not just on what we build Required Qualifications: - MS/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field - Strong Python programming skills - Experience with Python async libraries - Linux application development experience - Experience defining test scenarios and test cases to ensure quality of team deliverables - Passionate about writing software that is clean, simple, and elegant Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with API integration using Python - Familiarity with C and web development stacks - Experience with shell scripting Required Skills: Python, Python async libraries Important Skills: Linux application development, API integration Nice-to-Have Skills: Shell scripting
