Job Description
Summary: Howmet Aerospace is a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries. The Processing Tech I - Wastewater will oversee the processes needed to maintain facility compliance with permits and perform various monitoring and reporting tasks related to wastewater management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the process needed to keep the facility in compliance with required permits
- Read charts, flow meters, and gauges to detect equipment malfunctions
- Monitors wastewater plant equipment
- Collect samples, make process reports, and perform minor repairs on equipment
- Conducts and documents all required regulatory inspections of waste areas, e.g. daily, weekly, monthly inspections
- Work under direct supervision on duties and tasks that are standardized, selecting from written instructions and established procedures
- Resolve routine questions and problems, referring more complex issues to higher levels
- Apply basic and develop advanced skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment, as appropriate to area of specialization
- Parts to be lifted and/or transported may weigh up to 30 lbs
- Keeps work area clean, safe and in an orderly fashion on a daily basis
- Performs other tasks of equal or lesser skill as required
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to use Microsoft Office software
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire

- This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of wastewater experience preferred
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
