Summary: Howmet Aerospace is a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries. They are seeking a Materials Coordinator to manage shipping, receiving, and material handling duties within the Stockroom Department at their Kingston, NY facility. Responsibilities: - Prepare product for shipment, including picking items, county of origin verification, packing and completing all required documentation. Ensure all Export requirements are met - Receive deliveries and process paperwork in system. Deliver and stock in at defined location - Move parts from manufacturing work centers as needed, ensuring outsourcing items are prepared to meet pick up schedule - Maintain Steel room, including, material identification, proper storage and accurate system inventory - Complete daily cycle counting - Perform troubleshooting activities on discrepancies in all areas of the department - Maintain 5S in assigned area, including updating charts - Performs duties of Operator as required - Perform all other duties assigned - Ensure that all work activities are performed in accordance with established safety and environmental standards Required Qualifications: - High School diploma or GED - One years' experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment - Ability to operate Mobile Equipment - Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
