Summary: Howmet Aerospace is a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries. They are seeking a highly motivated IT Intern to support the information services group, involving analysis, design, development, testing, and support of new IT solutions during the 2026 Summer Internship Program. Responsibilities: - The IT Intern position will be located in our Plant 3 Whitehall Casting Operations in Whitehall, MI - This position will support the information services group with one or multiple phases of the information services methodology including analysis, design, development, testing, and support of new information technology solutions - The 2026 Summer Internship Program consists of 10-14 weeks of structured hands-on training involving plant tours, lunch & learn seminars, fun networking events to connect with fellow interns, and projects selected to add direct value to the business - At the conclusion of the program, each intern will present their projects to plant managers, supervisors, and mentors Required Qualifications: - Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Management or a similar field - Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework from an accredited institution (by May 2026) - Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
