Hospital: Haven of Hope Hospital Pay: HK$20,159 to HK$24,503 per month Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist supervisor in (i) Supervising and leading staff in food production and catering service (ii) System update and staff training (iii) Implementation of quality and process improvement plan and service projects (iv) Maintaining Dietetic and Catering Management System (DCMS) at local hospital level (v) Food quantity and quality control (vi) Inventory control (vii) Monitoring all necessary cleaning, hygiene and quality procedures (viii) Making requests for equipment repair and maintenance and follow up on maintenance progress
2. Carry out regular inspection and complete inspection report
3. Arrange staff duty roster
4. Any other duties as assigned by supervisors

Entry Requirements:

1. Completed F.5/S.5 education, or equivalent.
2. Has obtained Certificate in Catering Service, Cook Apprenticeship, Hospitality Management, Food Science, Food & Nutrition or equivalent.
3. Has relevant working experience.

Preferred Attributes:

1. Has working experience in bulk cooking or catering industry.
2. Post-secondary education level or above.
3. Has relevant experience at supervisory level.
4. Ability to read and write Chinese and English, and speak fluent Cantonese.
5. Knowledge in computer applications including Word and Chinese word processing.
6. Good communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills.
7. Holder of “Steam Receivers License, Class VI” or Holder of “Boiler and Pressure Vessel Certificate, Class III” is preferable.
