Job Description
Summary: Hormel Foods is a company focused on recruitment operations, and they are seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator. This role involves creating job postings, scheduling interviews, preparing offer documents, and maintaining accurate data and systems to support the hiring process.
Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains job requisitions and job postings as directed by business unit leadership
- Schedules screening calls and interviews for candidates
- Partners with recruiters to prepare offer letters and onboarding documents
- Maintains accuracy of Talent Acquisition and HR tracking tools and spreadsheets
- Ensures candidates complete pre-hire paperwork and communicates hire details to internal stakeholders
- Supports incoming hires by answering questions and preparing them for day one
- Coordinates I-9 verification, completion, audits and updates
- Contributes to talent acquisition reporting projects
- Manages a high volume of work with accuracy, urgency, confidentiality, and compliance
- Monitors and manages department’s shared email inbox(es)
- Demonstrates ownership of tasks using strong system knowledge and independent problem-solving
- Provides excellent customer service to recruiters, HR partners, hiring managers, interview teams, and candidates
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated patterns of highly effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical ability
- Possess unquestionable ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to initiate appropriate action independently as well as exercise maturity in judgment
- Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks concurrently
- Proficiency with personal computers, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to learn and use specialized computer systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher
- Experience using Oracle HCM Cloud (or a similar Applicant Tracking System)
