Project Executive, Online
Location: Hong Kong SAR
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong's trade. With 51 offices globally, including 13 in the Chinese Mainland, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub.
The HKTDC organises international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. The HKTDC also provides up-to-date market insights and product information via research reports and digital news channels.
As we celebrate our 60th anniversary in 2026 and begin a new three-year business cycle, our mission remains as strong as ever to help Hong Kong thrive in trade and businesses succeed in the ever-changing landscape.
Responsibilities:
Chinese Mainland
- Recruit potential participants and brands to join Online Design Gallery.
- Provide account servicing support to suppliers and coordinate with the Online Shop Operator in the following areas to ensure smooth daily operations: product selection, inventory control, POS, logistics, licensing requirements, accounting, year-round marketing campaigns and promotions, etc.
- Coordinate with the Online Shop Operator and or vendors on social-media promotion.
- Assist to produce product page layouts and visual content – from concept to production including product shooting, image enhancement, retouching, editing, that well illustrate the characteristics of the product.
- Support occasionally held pop-up promotions for both Online and Physical shops.
- Support Merchandising Team to coordinate with suppliers to provide and to upload product pictures, descriptions and specifications to the Online Shop.
- Coordinate with branch offices and suppliers on pop-up promotions including but not limit to budget planning, site selection, merchandises selection, booth design, on-site operation, online promotion, post-event report preparation, etc.
- Support Merchandising Manager to identify and recruit prospects to join window showcase & TV broadcast program to maximize revenue source.
- Perform other ad hoc duties and project-related assignments as directed by the supervisor.
Hong Kong and Overseas
- Support Merchandising Team to coordinate with suppliers to provide and to upload product pictures, descriptions and specifications to the Online Shop.
- Coordinate with branch offices and suppliers on pop-up promotions including but not limit to budget planning, site selection, merchandises selection, booth design, on-site operation, online promotion, post-event report preparation, etc.

Requirements:
- Diploma holder or above
- Minimum 1-year working experience with prior experience in e-commerce/online shop operations/merchandise management would be an advantage.
- Proficient in using PC design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver would be an advantage.
- Organized, proactive and attentive to details.
- A team player with strong communication, interpersonal and customer-service skills.
- Good problem-solving and coordination skills, with the ability to priorities tasks and to meet deadlines.
- Willing to work over-time.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua.
Remuneration and Benefits:
The successful candidate will be appointed on fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
