Job Description
Summary: Honeywell is a global company focused on innovation and technology solutions. As a Systems Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage complex systems that drive efficiency and safety across various industries, working within cross-functional teams on advanced projects.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design and development of advanced systems, including hardware, software, and network components
- Provide successful execution of complex engineering projects
- Implement and enforce security measures and compliance standards to safeguard systems and data
- Lead the deployment and configuration of systems, ensuring they are installed correctly, tested rigorously, and perform optimally
- Provide technical leadership in identifying and resolving system issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring systems remain operational
- Identify opportunities for process and system improvements, implement enhancements, and contribute to the optimization of operation
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Systems Engineering or similar field
- Must have graduated or graduating from an accredited college or university between August 2025 and May 2026 and be available to begin full-time work between September 2025 - July 2026
- Must have obtained degree within 12 months of the start date
- Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
- Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with systems integration and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for innovation and continuous learning
- Strong interest in system engineering and technology
- Basic knowledge of system design principles and methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
