Job Description
As a Material Handler - Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations by ensuring the efficient handling and movement of materials within our facility. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records.
You will report directly to our Logistics Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Houston, TX location on an On-site work schedule
In this role, you will impact the efficiency of our supply chain operations. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help ensure that materials are available when needed, supporting production schedules and contributing to overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- 1st shift 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday
- Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Stage incoming goods in designated receiving area with clear labeling
- Verify counts, part numbers / SKUs, quantities, lot numbers, serial numbers, and labeling against the PO and packing slip, Manage the logistics and distribution processes, coordinating with transportation providers to optimize delivery schedules
- Perform visual inspection and sampling per (QMS) Quality Management System
- Create Goods Receipt transaction in SAP
- Attach, sign, and retain supplier documents, packing list, certificates per QMS
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities and update inventory systems accordingly.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 2+ years experience in shipping and receiving operations within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- 2+ years of Experience with SAP systems
- Willingness to learn forklift operation
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

The hourly range for this position is ($22.50 - $25.00). Please note that this information serves as a general guideline.
