Job Description
Summary: Honeywell is a company that helps organizations solve complex challenges in various sectors including automation and energy transition. They are seeking a new graduate Embedded Engineer I to contribute to the design, development, and testing of embedded software solutions within their Building Automation division.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and debugging of embedded software and firmware
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration of software with hardware components
- Participate in code reviews and testing procedures to ensure software quality and reliability
Required Qualifications:
- Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar fields
- Must have graduated or graduating from an accredited college or university between August 2025 and May 2026
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in software development (including internships and project work)
- C/C++ embedded programming experience
- Experience with firmware for microcontrollers or other hardware
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with software development methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Passion for technology and continuous learning
