Welder Advanced - Level 4

Location: Torrance, CA, United States

The annual base salary range for this position is <$69,000- $86,500>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. In this role, you will impact the quality and integrity of our manufactured products, contributing to the reliability and performance of critical components used in Honeywell’s advanced technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform advanced welding processes including TIG, MIG, and arc welding on a variety of metals and alloys.
• Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering drawings to execute precise welds according to specifications.
• Conduct inspections and tests on welded components to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve welding-related issues and improve processes.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Proven experience in advanced welding techniques including TIG, MIG, and arc welding on various metals.
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering drawings.
• Expertise in welding inspection methods and quality control standards to ensure weld integrity.
• Experience maintaining welding equipment and troubleshooting welding process issues.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance requirements related to welding operations.

WE VALUE

• Technical certification or associate degree in welding technology or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in advanced welding roles within a high-quality manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with welding codes and standards such as AWS (American Welding Society) certifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in welding processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
