Job Description
We are looking for an experienced professional to handle complete export documentation and post-shipment coordination for our home textile export business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and managing complete export documentation for Shipment
- Handling Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipping Bills, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, etc.
- Knowledge of Forex / export proceeds / realisation and coordination with banks
- Handling and following up on export incentives and government benefits, including Drawback, RoDTEP and other applicable export schemes
- Coordination with banks, freight forwarders, CHA / customs agents and government authorities
- Following up with buyers and banks for export payment realisation / payments due
- Monitoring outstanding export payments and ensuring timely submission of required documents
- Handling bank documentation, export bills, BRC/eBRC and related compliance
- Maintaining accurate records of shipments, payments, incentives and export documentation
- Ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are completed accurately and on time
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Export Documentation, preferably with a home textile / textile export company
- Strong knowledge of export procedures, banking, Forex and government export incentives
- Should be independently capable of handling the complete export documentation cycle
- Good coordination and follow-up skills with buyers, banks, CHA, shipping agents and internal teams
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and export documentation systems
- Detail-oriented, responsible and capable of working independently
