Job Description
Be Part of Something Radically Different
At Holon Health, we don’t do “business as usual.” We’re a trailblazing healthcare startup reimagining what it means to care—for our clients and our people. We provide?whole-person care to justice-involved individuals living with?Substance Use Disorder?(SUD)—and we do it with deep compassion, community wisdom, and an unshakable belief in second chances.
Our approach throws out the playbook. We integrate medical, behavioral, and social care. We prioritize prevention and recovery. We treat clients like people, not checkboxes. And just as importantly, we know that?our team can only care for others if they’re cared for themselves. That’s why we lead with flexibility, trust, and a culture built on well-being, inclusion, and respect.
If you’re energized by meaningful work and want to feel good about how you spend your days, read on.
Position Summary
Holon Health is seeking a mission-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing People Operations team. This role is the engine behind our ability to find and hire compassionate, qualified professionals across clinical, operational, and administrative functions, including the behavioral health and peer recovery roles that are core to our mission.
You'll own full-cycle recruiting across a wide variety of roles, with clinical and behavioral health hiring as a primary focus, while also supporting hiring across business operations, corporate functions, and product development/technology roles. You'll partner closely with our People Ops team to support onboarding workflows and help new hires feel welcomed and set up for success from day one. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role on a lean team where your work directly shapes both the quality of care we provide and the culture we continue to build.
As an early-stage startup, Holon moves fast and operates with a high degree of agility. Priorities can shift quickly as we grow, so adaptability, resourcefulness, and a willingness to jump in and solve problems are essential for success in this role. We’re looking for someone who may not always have every answer immediately, but isn’t afraid to figure things out, step outside their comfort zone, and help build the path forward.
What You’ll Do
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, define ideal candidate profiles, and build sourcing strategies tailored to each role
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle: sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and offer coordination, across clinical, operational, and administrative openings
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records and pipeline activity in Paylocity (ATS)
- Develop and manage candidate pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill clinical roles, including Case Managers, Peer Recovery Specialists, and licensed behavioral health clinicians
- Deliver a consistent, thoughtful candidate experience that reflects Holon's values at every touchpoint
- Track and report on key recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance rates
Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Proactively source passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, and behavioral health-specific channels
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and anticipated openings
- Represent Holon Health at virtual career fairs and through employer branding efforts
Onboarding Support
- Partner with the People Operations team to support new hire onboarding workflows, ensuring a smooth and welcoming transition from offer acceptance through day one and beyond
- Assist with onboarding documentation, system setup coordination, and new hire communications as needed
- Contribute to ongoing improvements to the onboarding experience as we scale
People Ops Collaboration
- Work closely with the People Operations Manager and VP of People Operations on cross-functional projects including compliance, process improvement, and workforce planning
- Maintain a working knowledge of multi-state employment requirements relevant to hiring and onboarding
- Surface recruiting trends, candidate feedback, and market intelligence to inform People strategy
What You Bring to the Table
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with demonstrated success hiring in clinical, behavioral health, or human services environments
- Familiarity with the clinical workforce landscape, including an understanding of licensure types, credentialing basics, and the nuances of recruiting peer support and recovery-focused roles
- Proficiency with an ATS; experience with Paylocity strongly preferred
- Comfort working across modern productivity and project management tools; we use Asana, Microsoft 365, and Teams
- Familiarity with ethical AI use in recruiting workflows: sourcing, screening support, job description development, and an understanding of where human judgment must lead
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to step outside your comfort zone; you’re excited by the challenge of recruiting for roles you may not have hired for before
- Strong sourcing skills including Boolean search, Juicebox and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open reqs simultaneously without dropping the ball
- Comfort navigating ambiguity in a startup environment; you may not always have every answer immediately, but you’re resourceful, proactive, and willing to dig in to find solutions
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication; you know how to represent a brand well and keep candidates engaged
- Comfort working independently in a remote, fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities
Bonus Points if You Have
